Ozone Therapy

This treatment triggers cellular reactions that activate healing, enhance endurance, fight inflammation, and boost the immune system.

What to Expect

Intravenous ozone therapy involves introducing a mixture of oxygen and ozone directly into the bloodstream. During the procedure, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, mixed with ozone gas, and then reintroduced into the bloodstream. 10 pass sessions typically last between around 1 hour. Many people report increased energy levels, improved circulation, and a general sense of well-being following the treatment.

Contraindications

While ozone therapy is generally considered safe for many individuals, there are specific contraindications to be aware of. Individuals with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, also known as favism, should avoid ozone therapy due to the risk of hemolysis. It is not recommended for individuals with severe cardiovascular instability or active bleeding disorders. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before undergoing this therapy. Those with a history of stroke, recent heart attack, or severe respiratory conditions should also seek medical advice prior to treatment. As with any medical procedure, it is crucial to discuss potential risks and benefits with a healthcare professional based on individual health conditions and medical history.
